Strain Hardened 347 Columbium Stabilized High-Strength Continuous & Double-End Studs
ASTM A320 Grade B8C Class 2 stud bolts combine columbium stabilization with cold strain hardening to deliver elevated strength in aggressive service environments. These AISI 347 stainless steel studs achieve 125 ksi tensile and 100 ksi yield strength while retaining the intergranular corrosion resistance of stabilized grades. B8C Class 2 stud bolts are extensively used in petrochemical flanges, power generation turbines, and high-temperature pressure vessels where both superior clamping loads and welded joint stability are mandatory for leak-free performance.
